On the up.........

Our house-hunting expedition to the East coast on Friday/Saturday did not bear any fruit. Nice houses in bad places and vice-versa, were the theme of this visit. So its back to the drawing board. Another visit in two weeks time might take us closer to Aberdoom in search of our new love-nest.

Things are a lot better on the cancer front though, (I'm sure its the support you give me!) in fact I'm nearly back to feeling normal, even the lump in the throat seems to have disappeared. My last rant must've done trick to chase this last chemo away. Better make the most of these next few days, chemo#4 is on Thursday, then it'll be back to the shite! Even managed a few miles on the bike today (see picture), my first exercise since December!!!! Might even chance a swift 9 holes tomorrow - easy boy, don't go overdoin' it!
Thanks again for all your words of encouragement, its reassuring to know folks are reading this pish..............

Forgiveness for the things I do
But before you come to any conclusions
Try walking in my shoes'

Good to hear you have got over the hump again. Will be heading for dry land in a day or two so will be in touch. You must get the info on the 'bike for Work' scam, I mean scheme ... many new found budding Lance Armstrongs to be found on Shearwater .. thinking of setting up inaugural race as we have plenty of potential racers ... Frank 'The Lance' Wright; Brian 'Indurain' Jones; Mark 'A' Hoy' Richardson; and not forgeting Martin 'I wish he would stop going on about the wind up 'Shackleton.

Keep on Bloggin!

Oi oi daz boy,
Looking good on yir bike there, not as good tho as the fat 8 year old geordie in the news who ways 15stone.
House hunting up my neck the woods i see, just imagine me and you could be gym buddies some day. If your struggling for properties on the east coast i noticed a cracking ground floor bedsit in an area of dundee which has a bit of character, may require a lick of paint tho but if your interested il be happy to point you in the right direction.

Anyway must shoot got work to dodge, but may see ya at the fire fighting if you make a guest apperance. Keep the blog up highlight of the night shift.
Adios
