Down to Aberdeen Infirmary for the usual blood tests and gland fondling. Everything's in order once again. However, a trip down to the quacks the following day to whinge about stomach pains had them drawing more blood to check for stomach bacteria which may spell the onset of of an ulcer.
Results a few days later showed no sign of the offending bacteria and my stomach pains are probably due to excess acid, tablets dispensed!
Interestingly (to me), the blood tests revealed my thyroid levels are borderline low (probably due to the radiotherapy on the throat). More blood has since been taken to double check the levels. Results and remedy to follow.....
